Re-Opening Update
After being closed for nearly five months due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I am pleased that I will be taking bookings again from Saturday 24th April. Due to the need for additional cleaning and time to air the room there must be a 30 minute gap between appointments availability will be limited. For this reason I have temporarily suspended online bookings, if you would like to make an appointment please either email or text me.
Covid-19
Confirmed or Possible Infection:
-
If you or anyone in your family has any Covid-19 symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate, please notify me as soon as possible and do not attend your appointment - it is better to be safe, rather than sorry!
-
If you or anyone in your household has travelled to a country within the past 14 days that is considered by the government to be high-risk, please self-isolate as directed and notify me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment if it falls within the 14 day period.
Confirmed or Possible Infection:
-
If you are suffering from long-Covid it is essential you check with your GP that a deep-tissue massage treatment is appropriate for you, before making an appointment.
Vaccine:
-
At least 48 hours should be left between receiving a Covid-19 vaccine and a massage treatment, or until any side-effects have subsided.

As far as possible appointments will be arranged at times when Bora Studio is not running group classes, in order to avoid groups of people coming into close contact with one another.
-
Before each appointment the clinic room and communal areas will be cleaning using an anti-bacterial & anti-viral detergent. This will include any surfaces that may have been touched by the previous client including door handles, chairs, sink, bannisters & hand rails.
-
Please wash your hands on arrival. Hand sanitiser will also be available.
-
All used towels will be placed in a bin bag at the end of each treatment and placed outside the treatment room and hot washed at the end of the day.
-
All paper towels and disposable couch cover will be placed in a bin bag and placed outside the treatment room, they will be safely disposed of at the end of the day.
-
It is recommended that you shower and wash your clothes immediately when you get home - including your face covering if it is reusable.

Risk Assessment:
-
I have completed a through risk assessment which I will provide to anyone who wishes to read through it & I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the new procedures & controls.
Track & Trace
-
In the event that UK Track & Trace contact me as having been in contact with a Covid-19 sufferer it is likely that I will be obliged to self-isolate, in which case I will have to cancel all appointments for that 14 day period. Anyone who had a booking will be able to reschedule for a later date.
-
It is only if I have Covid-19 symptoms that UK Track & Trace will wish to contact any clients I have recently treated. In attending an appointment please be aware than in the situation described, I will be required to share your contact details.
